The First of December, the Romanian
National Holiday, is a suitable time for promoting
the tourist potential of the city inside the country
and abroad.
It was here on that day back to 1918 when Romanians
nationals from all over Transylvania got together
to decide their future, the unification with the rest
of Romania. |

The first edition of Alba Iulia Days,
took place between 31 May and 1 June 2003 and was
very successful.
Organized by Alba Iulia City Hall, this cultural event
includes rock concerts, traditional musical spectacles,
theatre presentations, art exhibitions and many more.
